Principal — NYC & Syracuse, NYAndrew Larew, a founding principal of LD&A, is a veteran of the commercial real estate industry with more than 40 years of experience across a full spectrum of finance and capital markets from workout strategy, litigation, investment, to development and property management.
Early on in his career Andrew was a Senior Investment Advisor with Travelers Realty Investment Company, responsible for the origination of $100 million of new mortgages as well as the oversight of a $250+ million loan portfolio.
From Travelers, Andrew moved his efforts to foreclosure and loan workouts, first for New England Savings Bank, and later with RECOLL Management Corporation (a division of Fleet Bank, now Bank of America), where he managed and directed the liquidation of a portfolio of large balance, and real estate assets for an FDIC Receivership.
Later in his career Andrew was Director of Finance for the Widewaters Group, Inc., a private real estate company with over 3,000,000 square feet of commercial office, retail, multifamily and industrial real estate. There he orchestrated and implemented the recapitalization of the company's $125 million real estate debt. The recapitalization included the origination and negotiation of debt, the sale of non-core assets and the acquisition of distressed property through a 1031 Exchange.
In 1996, Andrew re-entered the lending side of the business as a mortgage correspondent with Legg Mason Real Estate Services, which later lead to the formation of his own mortgage banking company and current role in 2002 as Principal of Larew, Doyle & Associates, LLC in its New York City and Syracuse offices.

Alan Doyle is a founding principal of LD&A, bringing more than 40 years of experience in real estate finance, acquisitions, and development for clients across New England. During the past 20 years, in collaboration with his partner Andrew Larew, Alan and the LD&A team have built one of the leading commercial real estate finance and advisory firms in New England and metro New York.
Alan began his career as an investment manager with institutions such as Citibank, Fleet Bank and Travelers Realty Investment Company in Connecticut, Massachusetts and Florida. While with Travelers, Alan was a leading mortgage originator in a year when Travelers financed more than $4.5 billion in mortgage loans. In addition, at Travelers he acquired investment properties and managed the development of hotel facilities. Alan was also a Vice President with Fleet Bank where he repositioned foreclosed real estate through lease negotiations and oversaw tenant build-out on properties located throughout New England, Florida and the Mid-west.
Before founding LD&A Alan was the Chief Operating Officer for F.H. French Company, a Rhode Island-based developer of medical and general office properties, including a 106,000 square feet Class A office building, fully leased to Citizens Bank/RBS.
Alan has a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Providence College and an MBA from the University of Rhode Island. He is also an adjunct professor at Providence College, where he teaches Commercial Real Estate Finance.

SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT
New York, NYAlex Hurwitz has over 20 years of experience in financing commercial real estate and has been with LD&A since 2012. His experience spans the both private and institutional sectors.
Alex was a project manager for The Hudson Companies, Inc., a NYC-based multifamily developer where he was responsible for assessing development opportunities, design and construction coordination, securing project approvals and financing, and marketing plans for sales and leasing. His projects included a 267-unit condominium in DUMBO Brooklyn, a 26-story student dormitory for NYU, and a 49-unit multibuilding rehab condominium project.
As a loan underwriter for M&T Realty Capital (Baltimore, Md.) he evaluated multifamily loan requests for credit quality, structure, performance, valuation, and candidacy for a GSE execution.
Currently he is the leading broker for homeless shelter financing in New York City, having arranged almost $400 million in construction and permanent loans for shelters backed by the Department of Homeless Services (DHS).
Alex has a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Brown University and an MBA from Baruch College in New York with a focus in Real Estate.

SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT
Central & Western, CTJeff Miller joined LD&A in 2023 as a Senior Vice President in the Connecticut office with focus on commercial mortgage lending in metro Hartford, New Haven, New London and throughout Connecticut.
Miller represents Foundation Commercial Real Estate Funding LLC, a direct private lender in the eastern U.S. From 1986 through 2020 Jeff worked for institutional real estate fund managers, including TCW Realty Advisors, CBRE Investment Management, and American Realty Advisors. From 2002 to 2009 he acquired and managed the U.S. property portfolio of two Australian investors, Challenger Financial Services Group and Mariner Financial. Jeff’s 40-year career in commercial real estate included positions in investment strategy, consulting, acquisitions, portfolio management, and capital-raising. He spent 21 years acquiring commercial properties for core and value-added realty funds. Earlier in his career Jeff worked in housing and community development with the New York City Planning Department and several affordable housing corporations. Jeff has a Bachelor of City Planning degree from the University of Virginia and a Master of Science degree in City and Regional Planning from Pratt Institute. He is active in the CT chapter of the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) and serves on their Government Affairs Committee and the Multifamily Council.

DIRECTOR OF ASSET MANAGEMENT
NYC & Syracuse, NYChristine Wojcik has more than 30 years of experience in commercial real estate finance, with an extensive background including origination, underwriting, loan valuation, portfolio management, loan workout, asset management and disposition. Her broad range of expertise was gained while working for financial institutions including JP Morgan, Wells Fargo (Wachovia) and Boston Capital, where she managed commercial real estate mortgage origination. Christine has also held senior positions at Fleet Bank with responsibilities for loan workouts and valuation, asset management and disposition.
At Larew, Doyle & Associates' New York office, Christine is the Director of Asset Management, overseeing the firm's NYC underwriting, asset management and loan servicing functions. In addition, Christine collaborates with colleagues in the sourcing and underwriting of investment and loan opportunities for the firm's institutional lending partners, as well as local developers and real estate operators in need of capital throughout New England and New York.
Chrissy received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Latin from Mount Holyoke College.
